About
Waterway Point is a stunning lifestyle mall located right beside the tranquil Punggol Waterway, serving as the social and retail heart of the northeast region of Singapore. This spacious waterfront mall has become a favourite among residents and visitors who love the blend of city convenience and natural charm. More than just a shopping centre, Waterway Point is designed as a modern community space where you can dine, relax, and unwind—and it’s also one of the most pet-friendly malls in the region, welcoming dogs in many of its outdoor areas and open promenades.
Spanning four levels, Waterway Point offers an excellent mix of retail, entertainment, and dining options, with a layout that flows seamlessly between indoor comfort and outdoor leisure. The mall is directly connected to Punggol MRT and LRT stations, making it incredibly accessible for pet owners travelling without a car. Its waterfront location is what truly sets it apart: the scenic Punggol Waterway Park connects directly to the mall, offering shaded boardwalks and open paths where you and your furry companion can take relaxing walks before or after your shopping trip. Many pet owners enjoy strolling these walkways during cooler parts of the day, letting their dogs soak in the sights and fresh air.
Inside the mall, visitors will find a balanced variety of well-known retail brands, grocery stores, and entertainment venues, including a cinema and a range of lifestyle services. But the highlight for pet owners is the alfresco dining scene along the waterway. Several restaurants and cafés at Waterway Point provide outdoor seating where dogs are welcome, allowing you to enjoy a meal while your pet rests by your side. The open-air design encourages a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere that perfectly suits a casual weekend outing. Cafés such as Starbucks and Coffee Bean along the boardwalk have become popular with dog owners looking for a relaxed hangout spot with a view.
The entire precinct surrounding Waterway Point reflects the pet-friendly spirit of Punggol. The adjacent Punggol Waterway Park provides large green spaces and easy access for walks, so you can extend your visit beyond the mall itself. Many residents use the mall as a starting or ending point for their dog walks, stopping by for coffee, lunch, or even a quick grocery run. With its modern architecture, breezy promenades, and welcoming ambience, Waterway Point manages to combine the energy of a major retail hub with the charm of a community-oriented waterfront.
For pet owners, Waterway Point stands out for its convenience and comfort. There’s no need to leave your pet at home—you can include them naturally in your outing. The mall’s design allows for smooth movement between indoor shopping and outdoor strolls, and the gentle waterfront breeze keeps things comfortable year-round. Whether you’re here to enjoy brunch with your dog, shop for essentials, or take a scenic evening walk, Waterway Point offers a refreshing and inclusive experience that celebrates the pet-friendly lifestyle Singapore is known for.
Although i had been to waterway point for few time, as a non resident at punggol, I still will find it confusing around the mall because there are 2 wings. Sometimes I also dunno where is the shop that i want to find even when i look at the online directory.
More so with the constructions, it makes getting there more confusing.
Probably, with more frequent visits, will get to know the place better.
